Dental problems

  • My tooth enamel is sensitive to acidic food
  • I have sensitive gums, which makes my mouth prone to inflammation
  • My teeth are sensitive to tartar, which makes them prone to cavities
  • my solution(s):
    • I brush my teeth as best I can
    • I brush the edges of my teeth and gums as much as possible
    • I eat less sugar
    • I haven't been drinking soft drinks for several years, on the advice of my dental hygienist
    • I don't brush my teeth too soon after eating, also on the advice of my dental hygienist
    • I brush with a toothpaste with fluoride (Ecodenta Multifunctional)
    • I use tooth floss, wooden picks and thin brushes to clean between all the teeth
    • I go to the dentist every six months for a check-up
    • I visit the dental hygienist every six months, who can remove tartar if necessary
    • Since October 2023, in addition to regular brushing and care, I have been using an electric toothbrush from GUM

More about this symptom is to be found in my book for (young) adults

and as a little more easy story in my book
